The Evil Eye

Mom woke up one morning with what the doctor calls a subconjunctival hemorrhage. Nothing to worry about, fairly common, just a burst blood vessel, basically. But it sure looks awful! Landon didn't seem to mind. Kind of matched his tie-dye shirt.

Mom and Dad came home for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a lot of fun watching them meet the baby. Mom was a pro, of course. Despite recent surgery on her right hand, she fed, burped and changed diapers like she'd been doing it all her life. Wait, she has!

Babywatch - Nov 10th

Bloodwork and tests today. Nothing new to report yet. Hannah is tired but still smiling. We wait.

Babywatch - Nov 9th

Okay, today is Landon's official due date and he's still not here. The doctor visit went well. Mom is 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, so we are on our way. Poor Hannah's ankles are so swollen that her toes are numb and her skin hurts. She's so uncomfortable!

They scheduled an induction date for Wednesday the 17th, if she doesn't go sooner. For her sake, I hope she goes tonight!
